Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Today is my personal dog Hutch’s 1st Birthday! It also would of been my late friend Matt Hutch’s 23rd Bday. I decided to name my dog after Hutch to keep his spirit around and to still have him here with us. I found Hutch abandon and limping around with a fractured leg and road rash covering his body in the parking lot of the truck stop i work at. My dog and friend Matt are so much alike in a million ways it is almost scary. Anyway, i just wanted to wish my good friend along with my amazing dog a happy birthday….

Levi’s fund was started to help other animals like him! Levi has been an inspiration to us all since the moment we heard of his story! Levi was found by a woman, on her front porch, after he was stabbed 8 times. The woman contacted her local shelter for help. Levi was immediately picked up and rushed to the vet where he shocked everyone with his resilient attitude and love for everyone, even through all his pain. Levi received medical care for his 8 stab wounds, was fully vetted and neutered. Levi then came into a foster home through Bully Breed Rescue, where he spent a short time before being adopted into the most loving family.
Levi is an inspiration to us all and our driving force behind not only Levi’s Fund but Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners Group. Levi is the LCPO logo and a true ambassador for his breed. Levi has faced a lot in his 2 yrs of life but will never know anything but love and life again.
With Levi’s Fund, we at Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners Group, aim to help other dogs like Levi that are in need of medical care. Levi enjoys his new life with his parents, his 4 2-legged brothers, his doggie sister Marga and kitty brother Journey. We do not know all of Levi’s past, his attacker has never been found but what we do know is he is an ambassador for his breed who is working towards one day being a therapy dog so that he can not only help other animals in need but people of all ages!
It is unfortunate that animal abuse is seen all to often and we hope to help the helpless! We ask that you please consider donating to the Levi Fund so that you can help us give hope and healing to the helpless. Any amount is so very needed and welcomed!
*Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners Group is a non-profit organization.* our chip in for Levi’s fund will run throughout the year, a new chip in will be started with the start of each year. Thank you for your support!
**We do apologize for the graphic nature of some of these photos, we feel it is necessary to not only share Levi as he is now but what he had gone through. It is important to understand what he has faced and through it all has remained loving and trusting of all people and animals.*

REBLOG IF YOU LOVE AND HAVE A PIT…
“I could go on for days about Waffles, our sweet boy from Tennessee… Waffles was abandoned at a shelter by his family because they were moving and could not take him with them. Knowing Waffles I can’t imagine how in the world anyone would not ensure he stay with them, but that is his past and he has been on quite the adventure looking for his forever home. Waffles has spent time in boarding, going to events, making so many friends along the way. Everyone that meets Waffles fall head over heels for him. Waffles is the sweetest, gentlest, laid back boy with the squooshiest old man face! Waffles is very playful with and enjoys the company of other dogs, he loves children and people of all ages. Waffles also likes treats and going on walks, and absolutely loves to cuddle above all!
For more info on adopting Waffles contact BBR.Fostercare@gmail.com”
There is not a dog in the world that i love more than Waffles (Other than my Hutch of course). Point is, this boy should not be without a loving family. Somebody needs to step up and add this wonderful guy to their family.
Bully Breed Rescue is a small rescue dedicated to rescuing and re homing dogs that are the pit bull class of dogs, including American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and pit bull mixes. Our goal is to help give these precious misunderstood dogs a second chance at the wonderful life that they deserve by placing them in forever homes. All of our dogs have been temperament tested and we try to provide honest and complete information on each dog. We operate solely on our own funds, in addition to adoption fees, so we have to keep the rescue small. We do not have a shelter - all of our dogs are in foster homes, though we sometimes post dogs that are still in shelters. To adopt one of our little angels, an adoption application, home check, and references are required, along with an adoption fee of $200 dollars. Adoptions are based on interaction between the potential adopters and the dog. Our goal is to place a dog with the perfect family to ensure a forever loving home. If you are interested in adopting one of our little angels, contact bbrct@yahoo.com. For our full list of pets avaliable please visit our website at www.bullybreedrescueinc.org or our Petfinder page… www.bbrct.petfinder.com
Fluke is an old salt. Having spent his life aboard a sailing ship, he’s had some amazing adventures on the high seas and enjoys sharing stories of his travels— especially over a bucket of bones.

The new age version of Horse & Buggy. Hutch has been a good sport about cutting down on gas and pulling my jeep down the street in this time of recession. Pitbulls going green!
The love, support & the “fame” has gone to this pups head, but he deserves every ounce of the positive. Before coming into the Modified k9 Pit Bull Rescue Program Brad Pit was a Victim of Crulity, he has been through it all. Beaten, neglected, rejected & in several “scuffles” with other dogs. Brad Pit rose above it all! His loving & forgiving personality has won the hearts of hundreds of people. Brad Pit defeats the stereotype the media & the ignorant has given these dogs! Brad Pit is now the mascot & loving family memebr of the mk9 crew, he is hear to help educate & change views of the uneducated. Here are some links we think you all need to check out so you can truly appreciate the heart these animals have for us humans! ~The Brad Pit Story: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=15219&id=129811260396773~We love Brad Pit: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=15222&id=129811260396773~Brad Pit Visits the Scranton Police Department:
